"We worked with Russell between 2017-2018 on a major home renovation in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. We purchased a home built in 1938 that was two floors and approximately 1500 square feet. Our project essentially consisted of an entire home rebuild where we kept the footprint of the home and exterior walls intact but demolished the interior walls down to the studs, entirely removed and replaces all electrical and plumbing, took off the roof, and built two new floors on top of the existing structure. Russell worked with us throughout the entire duration of the project alongside our architect who designed the house. 

The quality and workmanship of Russell’s teams were top notch and we were very impressed with the results. However, what set Russell apart from other contractors that we’ve worked within the past is his quick response time and ability to keep open lines of communication throughout the entire project. Throughout the ~13 months project, we never had to wait more than a couple of hours, if not 1 business day on a couple of occasions, to hear back from Russell. He is a consummate professional and we know that he always had our best interests at heart when working with his subs and other teams on the project. We would recommend Russell without reservation and hope you also consider working with him on your project."

“Russell McGinnis led an extensive remodel of our three-level, 3,750 square feet house at the north end of Lake Washington. This house was originally built in 1974. As a result, it needed major work. 

 Russell and his crew paid attention to the smallest details. In fact, they found and corrected several structural problems that were unknown to us. In addition, they found and repaired electrical and ductwork issues. In the end, our home is a showpiece.

We have held several events of fifty people in our home. All of them have complimented us on the beauty and quality of work. We had four contractors bid on the project.  The estimates we received ranged from $175,000 to $745,000! 

Our criteria for selection was the “confidence level” we had from talking to the contractors and price. We got it right! Russell and his crew did a great job for less than $400,000.
